A few good friends.
A lot of good music.

DJ Camp Richards is a highly competitive and prestigious summer camp in the woods near Bend, OR dedicated to training apiring DJs. Old friends reunited, new friendships kindled, beats mixed and blasted, camp crafts crafted, outdoors adventured. All at your own tempo.

behind the decks

Get Behind the Decks

We learn on a Pioneer XDJ-XZ running Rekordbox — the real thing, similar to gear you'd find in a club booth. Every level is welcome, total beginners included. By the time you leave, you'll actually know how to mix.

Days Worth Remembering

The music is just the beginning. There's the river to float, mountains on every horizon, and long meals that turn into lasting memories.

We learn, eat, swim, wander, and mostly just hang out together — the kind of unhurried fun-filled days that are getting harder to come by.

The Weekend

Day One

Arrival Day

Roll in at your own pace, settle into camp, get to know the gear, and ease into the first night together. You'll get your hands on the decks as soon as you like, playing your favorite tracks like you've never heard before on the camp's refined sound system.

Day Two

Session Day

As much time and instruction on the decks as you like, mixed with outdoor adventures to suit your mood. You will learn to trust your ears, your way around the gear, and the fundamentals of mixing two tracks together. Special fieldtrip to the camp's satelite pro-studio, weather permitting.

Day Three

Showcase and Departure

Our signature showcase where you will get the experience of performing some mixes for a live audience. Departure time on your own schedule.
